Work & Educational Background

<aside> 👩🏻‍💻 I started as an art director at an advertising agency and has worked on creative digital materials of one of the biggest telco companies and FMCG in the Philippines. I eventually transitioned into doing UX design coming from my background in developing a mobile app and the learnings I've got from working at a tech start-up.

Apart from any UX requirement, I report on website data and analytics using different tools, and translate them into high-level UX strategies and recommendations. I'm also actively involved in brainstorming sessions with creatives to support them in injecting tech and innovative ideas for campaigns.

<aside> 👩🏻‍💻 I've previously worked with start-ups focusing on educational tech, social tech, and a social impact design studio telling stories through visual communication and grounded solutions.

</aside>

<aside> 👩🏻‍🎓 Earned my Masters Degree in Communication major in Applied Media Studies at De La Salle University and focused my thesis on interface metaphors. Know more about the academic paper here.

I graduated from De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts in 2014 and was awarded Best Thesis where my work is archived in the school library.

Some awards

<aside> 🏆 My partner and I was named Top 15 creatives out of the 100 in teams of two at the 2020 Creative Guild x Create with Google Jam for Good Competition. We were able to secure a spot in an intensive eight-week Google Bootcamp.
